Why your gift matters
When Penny Brohn co-founded this charity in 1979, her vision was clear: no one should miss out on this kind of support because of their income or their ability to give. Over forty-five years on, that vision still shapes everything we do. Every group session and one-to-one consultation is free for the people who use them.

We receive no government funding. Everything we do is funded by people who choose to give: our supporters.
Support for the whole person
Cancer care should never stop at treating the disease. Alongside hospital treatment, people need help with the things treatment cannot reach: fatigue, fear, appetite, sleep and the question of how to keep living well. Penny Brohn Cancer Care UK pioneered whole-person support in this country, and we remain leaders in the field. No other charity offers the same breadth and depth of support, delivered by trusted, experienced and highly skilled practitioners.
Pay it forward
If we have supported you or someone close to you, giving can be a way of saying thank you. Many of the people we support tell us the same thing: they would love the next person to find what they found. A gift today means that when someone else reaches out to us, the same door is open, at no cost to them.
