Our partnership with GenesisCare
Our partnership with GenesisCare shows what integrative cancer care can look like when complementary support is offered alongside active treatment. Across GenesisCare’s fourteen UK centres, each with a wellbeing coordinator from Penny Brohn Cancer Care UK, people receive whole-person support with their radiotherapy. It’s a partnership of twelve years, one we’re proud of, and one that helps us reach people across the UK.
Our wider vision is that everyone facing cancer should be able to access this kind of high-quality, whole-person support. That’s why, alongside partnerships like this, we continue to provide our own free services, living out Penny’s original vision that no one should be denied care because of what they can afford to pay.
GenesisCare supports our Menopause Support Programme, helping us provide specialist guidance for people experiencing menopause alongside cancer. Through online sessions, in-person Menopause Support Days and nutrition advice, the programme explores the physical and emotional effects of menopause and offers practical ways to manage them.
The programme is open to people affected by cancer, whether or not they receive treatment through GenesisCare. Explore upcoming Menopause Support Programme sessions.
